To join the scheme all you need to do is complete a Salary Sacrifice Agreement, which gives the MOD permission to pay part of your salary as vouchers, and send it back to us. You will need to provide us with the details of your carer when you register. 

If they already accept Sodexho Pass vouchers, we simply need their name and Sodexho account number on your Salary Sacrifice Agreement. If they are not yet part of the Sodexho affiliate programme, ask them if they will accept vouchers as payment.  They then need to complete the Carer Registration Agreement and give it back to you, together with a copy of their registration certificate, before you can complete your registration.

All paper work should be received by Sodexho by the last day of the calendar month in order to be able to start the salary sacrifice in the following month. This means that Sodexho can issue you with childcare vouchers at the end of that month.

When filling out your Salary Sacrifice Agreement, please make sure that both your Service no. and National Insurance no. match the ones on your payslip. If any of your details are incorrect we won't be able to send you your vouchers.

We understand that being identified as service personnel can be a sensitive issue for you, and for this reason you may choose whether you wish to include your rank on your Salary Sacrifice Agreement. Please be aware that if you do include your rank it will be displayed on your vouchers and all other correspondence. If you do not wish to include your rank, please enter your title (Mr/Mrs/Ms etc.) instead.

If you do not wish for your carer to know that you work for the MOD, you may request a generic carer information pack. This gives no reference to the MOD, and can be downloaded from here. You can also obtain a hard copy by contacting our customer care team
